An Eccentric Spanish artist, manolo, lives most of his life in self-imposed exile in a remote country estate in France because of his disenchantment with Franco's Fascist regime. Now a new wind is blowing through Spain and Manolo is asked to authorize a museum of his work in Madrid though the country is still ruled by Franco. His decision is further complicated by a visit from an American photographer and by a bitter woman, herself a legend, who led a guerilla force against the dictator. |
